We loved our entire experience at this beautiful vineyard and restaurant! From the moment we arrived to our last sip of delicious wine, we felt the passion that this special place has for their craft. Mateo was our guide and he was very friendly, generous and informative. We loved being able to visit all the different areas of the vineyard, especially meeting their Chianina cows! It is nice to see the animals being treated with care and free to roam in an open space. Our lunch was exquisite, possibly the best meal we had in all of Tuscany... their Tuscan bread soup is incredible! Oh, yes and the wine is just as perfect as everything else! All in all, it was such a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again someday. Thank you!

We arrived in "the middle of the night", with no reservation to try to have a nice and typical Tuscany dinner, and we had it, actually, much more than it.
The service was amazing, Matheo took really good care of us, with good explanations regarding the wines and the dishes.
THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD, 90-95% made with products from their farm, the menu was extremely balanced and can satisfy anyone, all kinds of tastes, the wines, white and red are also typical from the region and produced by them, again, with an amazing taste.
Me and my family really thank Fattoria Poggio Alloro for accepting us and for providing us with such delightful night, hope to come back soon.

You've heard about these farm dinners, and so had we. So we made a reservation and went in early October. Fattoria Poggio Alloro is about 15 minutes from San Gimignano on small roads. At the farm, you enter the house and sit at long tables - they sat about 30 the night we ate there. And ate there. And ate there. Your party eats side by side, but others join you at the table. Food is served family style with as much as possible produced on the farm. And there is a lot of it - seconds of all courses were available, too. There were five antipasti (meats, fried vegetables, bread soup with basil and tomatoes, fruit and cheese, crostini; a good pasta primo; a pork main dish; salad and vegetables; a chocolate dessert; coffee/grappa/limoncello/vinsanto to end the meal. We did not do their lunch, or the wine tastings, but both reds and whites were served as part of the dinner. Nor did we stay her overnight. But the meal, at about 70 euros, was a real treat at an affordable price.

Came here last month for a wine tasting and lunch tour during one of my trips to Italy. We enjoyed bread with organic olive oil, cheese and meat platter, pasta with meat sauce, and 4 different wines (2 reds, 1 white, and a dessert wine). Everything was homemade from their winery and farm!!

The food and wine were delicious and the views from lunch were amazing! They were very generous with the food and kept coming back to offer more. The customer service was great too.

They do ship wine and olive oil and the shipping cost depends on the amount of bottles.
