Owner description: In a world where frenzy is the rule, we are convinced that great importance must be put on regaining possession of the fleeting moments to restore your energy. What better way to do that than by creating something with your own hands?! We want to share with you what until now have been our secrets: love, which is created with a ladle in your hand, a pot on the stove, a little flour scattered everywhere, and harmony, which eventually finds its peak round the table. The kitchen is for us the Cradle of Love. As we share our secrets, we also want to share our stove!! Join us in our kitchen for a wonderful cooking experience together! We recommend our basic cooking classes to the people who approach for the first time to the Tuscan cooking tradition. To dishes with special flavors which are prepared using only the best local products other than those of our own vegetable garden. You will learn to prepare handmade pasta, ravioli, ribollita and other delicious recipes of our area .. plunging fully into a family atmosphere and into a location of rare beauty.

One of the BEST cooking classes we have ever experienced. Mauro was super friendly, funny, and a wonderful teacher. He made us feel right at home from the moment he greeted us at our car. The best part about this cooking experience was that we felt like we were cooking/having dinner a friend’s house! It did not feel like some formal class. The food was AMAZING as well. It was what we hoped for in a cooking class and more! Great conversations and great food! What more could you ask for while enjoying the perfect Tuscan view!

Mauro – planning on coming back in a few years to see what you have done with the place!

Dishes we made: bread, ravioli, ragu sauce, fresh pasta, roasted pork loin, and tiramisu. This is just for my husband, Mauro, and myself. You will not leave hungry! I also took some the rest of the bread back to the hotel for breakfast the next day!

Mauro provided a delightfully fun evening of cooking, wine and laughter. The al fresco environment with the incredible views of Tuscany were a delight. It was a very low-key and informative evening.

This school is off the beaten path up a gravel lane but once there you will say it was worth the trip. Mauro is quite an amazing fellow who sets the stage for a warm relaxing fun afternoon. Our group was very international with couples and friends from Germany, New Zealand, Netherlands and USA. Simple fun recipes and the results were great. Did I also mention the wine? Beautiful venue overlooking a the hills of Tuscany how could you go wrong!

We had a fantastic time. Mauro even picked us up from our air bnb and brought us home. The location had beautiful views, and we had a small intimate group, which was perfect for our cooking lesson and dinner. We made delicious pasta, ravioli, sauce, bread and tiramisu. Mauro and Marta made everyone feel like longtime friends. Highly recommend! This was one of our favorite parts of the trip.

If you are in Tuscany, and evening with Mauro and his sister is a MUST DO! Your cooking level and experience doesn't matter, our group included a person in the food industry, those with fairly high kitchen skills and those who had no experience whatsoever and everyone had a wonderful time! We made a variety of dishes including meats and pasta and dessert. Trust me, there was a ton of food and wine! Mauro's gracious hospitality and delightful sense of humour made everyone feel like invited guests in his home. His house on the top of one of those beautiful Tuscan hills is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Follow his instructions or use coordinates on a gps to find it (there is no actual address - part of the charm!) Unplug, relax, eat, drink and you'll fall in love.
