We ate at Olivieri twice during our stay in town and all the food was simple but perfectly prepared. Particular mention goes to the spaghetti with clams and the tiramisu; both were fabulous. Service was laid back and very friendly. Well worth a visit.

We appreciate TripAdvisor reviews, but this time it disappointed us very much. This restaurant is rated 4.5 stars, so we expected a perfect dinner. Salad was ordinary, and my husband’s steak was way over cooked than medium rare that he ordered. My sea bass was fine but nothing special. They were nice to give us a compliment macchiato and a glass of grappa for over cooked steak. We’ve been eating so well the last two and a half weeks in Italy, and I’m sorry this experience was one of the two least favorites.

Hello,

We were at this restaurant for dinner and we had a good time. The service was good and also the food. Good selection of wines. They have a few tables outside and is very good for a peaceful night.

Enjoy!

Trying to eat late night can prove tricky in San Gimi. Luckily this place stays open till midnight. And just because they are the only one open doesn’t mean their not turning out fantastic food. Fresh pastas here, as is the norm in tis region. The food is simply and well prepared with little to no flare/flash. The white rabbit ragu pasta was lightly gamey and tasty, not oily at all. The clam pasta was sublime as the clam flavor permiated every bite. Swordfish, seasoned only with what seemed to be only salt and butter, was cooked to perfection allowing the great swordfish texture to remain intact without any hint of dryness. Service was beyond friendly and very laid back.

My second visit! Service is great! Love the music! Menu is different from other local restaurants. Nice breadbasket! Finally some soft chewy bread with yummy olive oil. Interesting Caesar salad...very satisfying! Potato ravioli were flavorful! But the best was Sformato di pateta e crema di pecorino! Potato flan! WOW!
