This restaurant is in one of the main streets leading up to the tower and duomo but it feels very different from the ones only 50 yards up the road. They are all checked paper table cloths, plastic menus and ketchup. This is a very nice little place with white table clothes with indoor seating and covered outdoor seating.
Friendly staff and nice simple menu.
We actually went twice in the same day. At lunch I had a bruschetta with pomadoro and Riboletta, a Tuscan soup which sound simple but actually most places get these wrong. Very fresh ingredients presented well.
We did return in the evening and being honest the food wasn’t quite as good. Had tuna tartare which was good but gnocchi with cheese did seem a bit processed.
However, for being right in the middle of the main tourist area this is a very good bet.
