This is a lovely hotel in a very good location, the room was lovely and airy with tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has great friendly and helpful staff always available to deal with any issues if needed

Location wise you cannot get much better, right in the heart of Florence town and next door to the Hard Rock Cafe (not that I ever went in there).

Smart, modern and attractive hotel. The rooms are on the small side but not comfortable. All mod cons and very modern, only criticism is there is not a lot of of cupboard space but this is a minor criticism and was perfectly manageable for a five day trip.

We did not have the breakfast as most of the slightly negative reviews of this hotel seems to be with the breakfast and from what we saw it did look basic.

Staff very helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The hotel was a disaster. First, I believe if you advertise on booking.com but no one on staff speaks English then state that clearly. Also if the room you are booking has SERIOUS RESTRICTIONS-state that too. The nightmare began when we were lost on our way from the station and no one could give us directions when I called. Once we got to the hotel we were taken to our suite (which we paid extra for) directly overlooking the square. What they failed to tell us after they happily took our money was that STARTING at 10 pm every night, there is a VERY LOUD band that plays in the restaurant DIRECTLY below our room. I tried to close the windows and put on the air conditioning but it didn't work. After a sleepless night, I decided to take a bath, but that didn't work either. In the morning I told them the air conditioning didn't work and the only thing I understood in the long stream of Italian I received was "Impossible".... Then i told them the bath didn't work either and they said that would be fixed. 3 days later when we left, even after reminding them each day, it was still not fixed. There is not even so much as a free bottle of water in the hotel, everything has a price and none of the bathroom soaps were ever replaced---I have to assume that they are just cutting costs and refuse to do the upgrades and upkeep that is necessary. This is extremely unfortunate.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, do not pay extra for a plaza room, stay on the side.

Dear Madame and Sir,
we apologize for some inconveniences not depending on our will, but we are very disappointed for your disinformation and for your absolutely rude and not respectful attitude towards our staff.

These suites are in a fantastic location and very close to the Duomo, Uffizi and main attractions. The standard room was on the small side and bathroom minute but the staff are welcoming and pleasant.
