San Lorenzo market is a lot of junk, but also has some good shops and if you are willing to shop and HAGGLE a lot, you get some good finds at good prices.

We bought a leather jacket (roughly half off of list price) and some collapsible waste baskets (cheap).

Just your usual covered market with lots of local shops and a food court. Nothing too special that you can't get outside or in any other city around. It's nice that everything is in one place. Too bad you have to go through leather hell outside with hundreds of identical leather stands with pushy merchants.

Went here with my 2 children who are in their 20’s in the evening time. It was great in that we could choose whatever style of food each one of us wanted from 12 different stall holders. We then met up in the seating area in the centre and had some excellent locally produced wine. Great buzz in the place, stall holders we went to were good fun. A must see.

Nice place to discover and enjoy of a traditional market all over the ground floor, on the upper level you will find a lot of spots where you can discover a large number of just a kind of street food. Including a large cooking school. A must.

On ground floor you can find very nice local product from 8 a.m., and on 1st floor there's a lot of small restaurants and bars working until midnight (every day). In the evening a lot of people hanging around there... eating and drinking. And it's a really good project, if you ask me.
Very good pizza, oysters and some other stuff. Pasta not so special there. Go to other trattorias like Cantinetta Allegri etc.
