We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in June. The 2 men working at the front reception were very friendly and attended to all our needs. They gave great dinner recommendations as well. Breakfast was served on time and was fresh and plentiful including scrambled eggs (don't often get in Italy!!) as well as fruit, meats, cheeses, cakes, pastries, cereals along with juices and coffee. Our room was spacious and clean (probably best of our 2-week stay in Italy) and we were thankful the A/C worked so well after a long hot day touring sites. Only a 5-minute walk to the Accademia Museum and less than 10 minutes to the Duomo.

This was our second visit to Florence and second stay at the Residenze iL Villino. The location could not be any better. The Duomo and Academia are both about is about two blocks away and everything else is an easy walk. The accommodations are spacious and very comfortable with a quiet courtyard to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Management is excellent and extremely helpful with making reservations for restaurants and museums. Overall excellent and reasonably priced. Also, be sure to have dinner at the Acquacotta restaurant down the street for a meal you will brag about.

The B&B is in a great location on a quiet street. A walkable distance in a city for strolling. There were four of us and the Residenza Il Villino was a perfect location to rest and relax after the sights. We had a two room suite, nicely furnished, with refrigerator. The staff were attentive and friendly, with tips on what to see, where to go, and of course, gelato. Breakfast in the courtyard was a great way to start our adventures. Our test - would we go back? A strong

Giovanni was extraordinarily helpful. He arranged for parking, helped with concerts and restaurants, and bought special yogurt for us. The room was charming, with a view of the Duomo. Location was quite good...midway between Academia museum and the Duomo.

Room tip: ask for a room with a view of the Duomo

The B&B was in a perfect location, just minutes from the Duomo and we were looked after very well from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Our room had the most lovely view of the city and we would recommend to anyone coming to Florence!
