“Wonderful stay in glorious Italy!”
Reviewed 16 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Our time is coming to an end at the wonderful San Silvestro!

Cortona and Camucia has provided an excellent base in order to explore the surrounding Tuscan and Umbrian landscape. We have not been in this area for many years after holiday in the east of Italy but we will now be back this way again.

We have had a lovely 2 weeks restful stay with family and have thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful place amongst the vines.
Carla, Paulo & Stella have been so helpful and accommodating during our time here, they have made our break away from London extra special.
The house is rustic and comfortable and provided a lovely quiet space at the end of long days travelling around. The pool has been a saving grace on some days when it has become too hot to do anything!
We have so enjoyed our time here and don't want to leave. Thank you so much Carla, Paulo and Stella for allowing us to stay in your lovely Italian oasis!

“Everything we hoped for and more.”
Reviewed 5 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We have had a wonderful time at San Silvestro. The villa is a beautiful farmhouse set in a vineyard and a place of tranquility. On our arrival we were greeted with fresh flowers and a bottle of red wine produced from Carla and Paulos vineyard which was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Carla and Paulo and on our last night they made us a delicious Tiramisu. We would highly recommend San Silverstro which is an excellent staging post to explore the local area Siena, Cortona and Perugia.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday The Lee family Liverpool xx

“Great spot to explore Tuscany from, warm welcome from owners”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 for a stay in May 2013

The owners were welcoming and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful to us. The location was great for seeing the sights with fast trains to Florence and Rome from the village. You need a car though as the farmhouse is a short drive from the town centre and there are very few pavements! The farmhouse is private but open grounds and fields around, might be difficult to keep v small children in sight without having to keep doors shut. Pool lovely but short walk from farmhouse but gates and fenced and private.
