The apartment is in a very convenient an beautiful location of Castello. For anyone who might struggle with long or uphill walks, there is a lift that takes people from the top of Castello to the bottom from where there is an easy access to the city center. Cagliari is located on the hills so one has to be prepared for up and down strolls.
The flat is very big, with 2 double bedrooms of which one has access to the window/balcony. There are also two bathrooms.
The flat has a very personal touch, with a collection of eclectic items, quite possibly from the owners private travels. Very well equipped, thou we were rather missing the kettle...
The only minus that I can point out is the beds... They are very uncomfortable, really really hard mattresses.
The owner, Anna is a lovely lady and always ready to help.
We stayed in this apartment for a week at Easter and we loved it.The apartment is in the old part of Cagliari and is a 20min walking distance from the Marina area where most of the restuarants are. The apartment is large, the rooms are bright, full of old charm and the views are wonderfull. The owner Anna Teresa Pintus was there to greet us and was extremely helpful, she even left us a plate of lovely cakes to enjoy. The apartment is up in the Castello region and anyone with any walking difficulties may find it difficult although there are lifts to bring you up and down and also a bus stop directly opposite the apartment. When we are in Cagliari we had dreadful wet and cold weather and the fact we had such a lovely apartment was a bonus.
