Wife and I visited Verona for 5 days and Piazza Bra is unavoidable. It's large, has the arena on one side, loads of restaurants on another, and a lovely central park area for sitting and passing the time away.

Good place for a quick coffee and biscotti, or more substantial meal, but quite expensive. Excellent area for watching the people go by!

Piazza Bra is a lively square with restaurants and store galore. You can hang out here for hours. Shop, relax, eat, take pictures!

It is beautiful to wander around during the day but at night it's amazing that is when you can see the real beauty of the arena. There are plenty of places to eat and mostly offer the same over priced very ordinary food. I would recommend eating elsewhere unless it's opera season and you are lucky enough to be able to sit outside and listen to the music.

A huge piazza in all its glory where you feel you are still in the renaissance with great historic buildings and fantastic trattorias for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One of the nicest piazzas I have ever seen in Europe. Not to be missed...

The city is so beautiful and historical, at the time of the famous operas the town is very busy. The restaurants and cafes have very good food. One can sit in the Piazza Bra and people watch, while awaiting the time for the opera to start in the coloseum. The atmosphere is enchanting and exciting.
