Owner description: Libreria Antiquaria Perini was founded in Como in 1968 by Carlo and Ruth Perini, who moved to Verona in 1970 and in 1972 based the gallery in via Sciesa 11. It's now ruled by Alberto and Marcus Perini, the second generation in this family-business, with the help of Marcus' wife Antonella. We published 50 catalogues of antique and rare books, maps, decorative prints and old masters. We recently increased our inventory and interests opening a window on the modern market of contemporary masters and vintage posters.

We were on the hunt for a vintage poster and found this shop's collection to be very interesting and varied. We purchased an original print from a Veronese artist from the 60s (which they lovingly wrapped and protected for our travel back to the US), but we spent a long time looking through the collection and working with the shop owners. They were warm and generous with their time. This is a great place to find a unique souvenir to remember your travels in the Veneto.

I went here to get a present for my sister. The shop is more than an amazing collection of maps and old prints, it is a step into the beauty of the past. I would highly recommend everyone to stop in. It is off the beaten track for sure and will no doubt take your breath away. If you want a memory that will last a lifetime go here. I always look for those unique shops when I travel that have original pieces you can't find anywhere. Well this is one of those shops! Enjoy

Dear Laura!
Thank you very much for the nice words you have chosen to describe our shop. In fifty years we have tried to collect a wide choice of maps, prints and old books and we are so happy you have found the way to our gallery.
I hope that the map of Italy you have chosen for your sister was a successful choice!
Say hello to your husband and your child!

Entering the shop you have immediately the feeling to be in a special place. The selection available at the shop (huge, beyond what you can imagine), the competence of Alberto but most of all the human touch and his patience in allowing you to dig in your deepest wishes and desires allowed even a tough client like me to get out more than satisfied... If you like the idea to bring home something meaningful to you on a pretty wide range of prices and that's definitely a place you wanna stop at!
Grazie del tempo dedicatoci!

Someway hidden in a narrow street this Antiquaria is really worth the visit!

Maps, cards, drawings and posters: it's all there. For every kind of person you'll find something of interest.
I call it a hidden treasure.
The staff is very friendly and passionate. When buying a gift, it's wrapped in style.
