My wife and I visited Venice for three days on our 25th wedding anniversary. The location is great. We took the river bus from Marco Polo airport to the 'San Stae' stop which takes around 45 minutes and costs 15 Euros single or 27:50 euros for a 30 day return (June 2019). The hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the San Stae stop so even with heavy suitcases it would be easy (Venice is not somewhere you want to drag big cases around as there are lots of bridges to climb up!). We arrived very early (11:00am) but the staff allowed us to drop our bags so we could wander around the city until it was ready (about 13:30). Our room was in their 'dependency' hotel about 8 metres from the main hotel and access is through a separate locked door that you buzz to get access to (answered very quickly every time we went back). Staff were very friendly and carried my wifes' bag all the way to our room. The room included a small ante/entrance room with a wardrobe, safe, small TV, chaise longue and tea/coffee making facilities with a separate door to the bedroom. The bedroom (also with Smart TV) was reasonably sized with a fridge bar, and small table.
