Hotel Canaletto has rooms which are really tiny and get claustrophobic. The hotel staff isn't too helpful and courteous.

The breakfast that they offer is great though.

It is situated within walking distance of Piazza San Marco, so that's great

This hotel is small and quaint and perfect for a few nights. Definitely not luxury but whilst in Venice for a short time you wont spend much time in the room as youll be out exploring! The hotel initially is quite hard to find.. like everything in Venice! So worth using maps on your phone and you will evetually find it! Very close the St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. The rooms are small and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Would recommend this hotel as a base to explore the city! A Gondala ride is a must be make sure you haggle!

Really enjoyed our recent stay here. We were surprised how quiet it was, bearing in mind that it was only a few minutes walk from the Rialto and St Marks Square. The generous breakfast was an added bonus, and the staff helpful and friendly.

We had an issue at another hotel in Venice which resulted in us on the streets with our bags looking for a hotel at 1am. Hotel Canaletto had a 24hr reception, relatively cheap rates and very friendly, understanding and helpful staff. The room was beautiful and clean, with a lovely courtyard view. The bathroom was well equipped and clean and the breakfast was excellent.

Overall this hotel won us over with its customer service, friendly and helpful staff and clean and beautiful rooms, but it was also in a great location with luggage storage facilities, which was great.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel for a few days on our Italy trip in May. The room was really nice even though it was a little small but it worked. They also had a breakfast in the morning. The front staff was very welcoming. We specifically liked the location because it's quiet in that quarter even though once you step out a couple of blocks you're right in the middle of everything. It was just what we needed to wrap up our trip from our 2 week travel after all the adventure and walking we did in Rome, Florence and Pisa.
