We booked this hotel for 3 nights in mid Sept. The hotel was small but charming. The rooms were very clean and furnished adequately. The shower was the smallest I had ever seen. The sliding doors were incredibly narrow and if you are not a super skinny person you have to really shimmy to fit in it. The bit downside to this hotel is there is NO A/C. They have it but don't use it. The first night was 83% humidity and in the low 80's and the A/C was set at 25 C which is like 78 F. We took a shower and were sweating right away. The thermostat in the room is locked so you cant change it. We asked at the desk the next morning and were told the hotel is set to 1 temp and it cant be changed. We said it was VERY hot and could we at least have a fan and were told no. So for the next 2 days we suffered in a very hot hotel room. I do not suggest this hotel in the summer or hotter months if you are someone who likes your A/C and comfort. In the cooler months I don't think this would cause an issue and should be fine. Other than the temperature issue the hotel was in a fantastic location, just a few blocks behind St Marks Square and was really easy to get to and centrally located for all the other places we walked to. Only other downside is they have no elevator as most places don't. We got there early and they stored our luggage until we could check in and when we did they had already taken the luggage upstairs. When we left we had to haul the luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Not a deal breaker, and to be expected but if you have mobility issues just something to keep in mind. The hotel offered a continental breakfast each morning that was very nice, plenty of options and all were tasty. We were in room 23 right next to the breakfast room so if you like to sleep in you might want to avoid this as its a bit noisy early in the morning.

Room tip: If you like to sleep in avoid room 23 since its next to the breakfast room and can be a bit noisy.

Spent a 4 night break with 2 friends. Staff went out of the way to make our stay comfortable as the lack of a lift proved a bit more of a problem that we envisaged. Cases were taken to our rooms without any problems.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast could be a tight squeeze but there was plenty of food available and it was easier to talk to other guests.
would definitely recommend friends to stay in this hotel.

Room tip: let them know in advance if stairs might be an issue.

I ranked the hotel a 4 because Of its excellent location close to St Mark’s square.
Room was a fair size. It was easy to get set up and place luggage for easy access. Bathroom shower was small. If my husband was any bigger he would of had to shower outside the shower. Lol
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was acceptable.
Good wifi.

Very helpful staff. A pleasant, clean hotel and nice bed- room. Shower room tiny but we booked economy bedroom so probably can't complain. A kettle, mugs etc would have been nice especially as buying drinks in Venice is so expensive. Mini bar useful and fair prices. Continental breakfast plentiful and good choice. Well located in quiet backwater just off At Mark's Square.

Superb location, spacious room with decent air-conditioning and breakfast, and peaceful at night. Spent 3 great nights here right near San Marco square.
Don’t bring wheeled suitcases though (don’t bring them to Venice, full stop!) and pack light, as there are no elevators and the staircase is narrow. We left our suitcases in the car at Mestre and hand-washed as needed.
The vaporetto (boats) from the train station was jam-packed so we walked about 25 mins, no problem. But we did have a portable WiFi with us to navigate as you can easily get lost! (Venice does seem to have WiFi spots)
