It was probably a grand hotel 20 years ago but the failure to update to bring into the 21st century is notable.
Air con not working, no iron in the entire hotel, suspicious smells in the rooms, WiFi not working.
I would avoid. 2 stars because of great location only.

From the moment we entered (through the secured buzzer entry) to the moment we left it was a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful in every way possible. It has delightful interiors, very clean room and bathroom and beautiful antiques everywhere. A delicious breakfast was included with our room and we enjoyed the expresso and juice and all the pastries too. All in all it was a fantastic price and an extremely enjoyable experience, and we will be coming back!

Fantastic value for a canal view room. Spend the night with high ceilings and terrazzo floors, ample closet space, spacious room, and most importantly, your own view of Venice roof tops and canal. Continental breakfast in a small room off the entrance,

Room Tip: I think the best canal view rooms are A1 and B1. Some street noise

The worst hotel ever!!! Don't stay here!!!! Room doesn't look like on their website pictures!!! It is disgusting and smelly!!! We were very disappointed! The staffs were unfriendly, unhelpful! We travel a lot and we are not too picky but this was very very very bad experience!!!! Don't waste your money!!! Look for another option!!!

Dear Anastasya Y,
Good afternoon from Corte dei Greci, Venice.
We took good note of your feedback, which was object of our best care and attention.
After a thorough review of all the aspects described and an accurate investigation of the events occurred during your stay, we do regret to learn that your expectations were not accomplished.
The full satisfaction of our clients is our only purpose. However it is, the commom sense and the good education are of the utmost importance in any relation. To be insulting or acting like a vandal doesn't help, doesn't help at all (isn't it?).
Above all this, should it happen that you give us a second chance, you'll completely change opinion. You'll see...
Kindest regards.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It was a last minute trip and I was a bit nervous with the hotel I had picked. Once we got there, we were both pleasantly surprised. Check in was quick. Our room was spacious and had a nice view. It is not a 5 star hotel but is clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great.
Please note: the front of the hotel is so much nicer than it appears on the picture. The front desk person presses a button to let you in through the glass door once they recognize you as a guest, which is a nice safety precaution (even though we felt super safe in Venice). It is located perfectly, being close to San Marco square but far enough to have peace and quiet. They also offer free breakfast but we didn't try it. Our water taxi picked us up very early (5am) on our last day and the staff went out of their way and prepared us a breakfast bag with yogurts, croissants and fruit. So sweet of them. Thank you!
