The main draw is the grilled food, which was done exactly as requested.
A relatively limited wine list with a few pearls.
Fairly simple decor in the basement.

Would not recommend. We were made to feel most unwelcome, service was very poor and inattentive. Food was poor and expensive. Chicken tempura had 2-3 pieces of chicken with rest of plate made up of mixed vegetables. Salad served with no oils/dressings - had to ask for them. My wife left early as my daughter was feeling unwell and no-one came over to see if everything was ok or to clear the plates. Had to wave to someone at the bar to get the bill as waiter seemed to be ignoring us. Had much better meals in Cervinia for half the price. Avoid!

We were lured by the prospect of a fondue after a hard day of skiing and so booked a table. Price outside did not specify that the price is per person sharing, so silly us thought it to be for two. We were of course disappointed at this but still found a few dishes which we enjoyed although the pasta was a small portion. The salad was fresh and delicious. I had the papardelle which were excellent. The menu was expensive without doubt. We did get an amuse-bouche and some small treats at the end plus the sparkling water, none of these were charged for.

The restaurant is elegant mountain style and very cosy at the same time. I concur with others that the manager and his staff were somewhat haughty. Italians are well known to just have water with their meal and us being really tired chose the same but it felt like this was an annoyance. The young lady serving us was great, she was efficient and pleasant. Nobody was warm, this was really lacking. No good running a beautiful restaurant and not letting guests feel at ease and welcomed.

Good food, although no better than other places in the resort. More expensive than other places. Service ( especially manger but also has the rest) bizarrely and unnecessarily surly - seems to be their thing! Live music very cool - just right for the ambience. Cocktails upstairs very nice!!

We had a lively meal but felt it was overpriced. Live music was s nice touch but made conversation impossible. Would go back but with a mind to how I ordered.
