We had a very tight schedule during our visit to Trento, so had no much time to investigate the hotel.
The hotel is in the city center, so be ready to go on foot to reach it. Distances are not long, but you'd better use a four-wheeled luggage. Besides, the hotel is in an old building, which means there are numerous steps up and down the same corridor.
This is a 4**** hotel, but not on the luxury side of it. The room is spacious, but very ascetic: bed, chair, table, lamp, TV, minibar. The room is not the one in which you want to spend much time. The window in my room was in the ceiling. There is a remote device to open it. But after several minutes of being open it closed automatically. Maybe, it's a safety precaution.
The bathtub is very narrow and you cannot use its edges as handles: there's nothing for your fingers to grip for. Young and athletic people will not notice that, but for me it was taking certain time and brainwork to find my balanced way out of the tub.
Breakfast was not super plentiful, but good with various choices of fruits, cheeses, cakes, cut ham, boiled eggs etc. If the hotel breakfast is not enough - there's a lot of cafes and food kiosks around the hotel.
All the attractions of Trento are very near as the town itself is very compact - and that is the indisputable plus of the hotel.
But what I liked most about this hotel is its enclosed court which is hard (or not too hard) to find which is incredibly beautiful in my opinion with its trees, benches and tables and flowers. We found it in the very last moment before our departure. I strongly recommend to seat in this lovely place or to make a photo session there.

Enjoyable stay. Comfortable bed. Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Good breakfast. Staff helpful.

Lovely city for cycling into from the Dolomite region along the River Adige. Easy cycle rides along the river. The hotel does cycle hire.

The is a very basic and aged facility, poor WiFi connection, breakfast to be improved. The main issue is lack of parking spaces, that you have to walk quite some distance to find a public parking garage. They also charge hefty fees for additional family members.

Room Tip: be prepared to walk quite some distance to find a parking garage.

Hotel Accademia was a pleasant place to stay. The church bells are nearby and so very loud, but they are a nice way to wake up. The staff on the desk were competent and courteous. There is a minor problem with the parking, which is some distance from the hotel.

The room for families is of great value, and spacious for European standards, there is availability to book a car park for a low cost stay also. The breakfast could be improved and with more variety. .
