For such a central position in a large city, the apartment was in a very pleasant leafy courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a really efficient shower. The air conditioning kept things reasonably cool while the outside temperatures were in the mid 30's. Shops, restaurants and public transport were virtually on the doorstep. The only criticism is the absence of a kettle or coffee pot. We bought a cheap Italian coffee maker which did the job and made a handy souvenir!
This apartment was perfect for our stay in Milan! It looks exactly like the pictures and it was clean. Like most of Europe do not be fooled by the outside of the buildings, everything looks older. You have careful not to hit your head on the ceiling when you go upstairs to the bedroom but it was no big deal for us. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.... You can walk to Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral, the Museum, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (wonderful shopping) and restaurants everywhere. Other great thing, is the a little restaurant around the corner called Majestic Cafe Bistro, they recommended that we take a day trip to Lake Como and OMG it was perfect. You take the train which is an 8 minute walk from the apartment and for less then 10 EURO per person (this includes the return train) you are in Como Lago. I will recommend this apartment to everyone I know. Thank you Francesco.
The apartment was as depicted and was very comfortable. It's location, being close to the train station, was a bonus for us. Francesco was extremely helpful. I would recommend his apartment.
This apartment was accurately described & represented by the photos on the TripAdvisor website. We appreciated the closeness to all the key sites of the city - we were able to walk to the Duomo, the Big Bus tours started from around the corner & the pedestrian mall was also around the corner. The Sforza Castle is also very close by. It is a studio apartment with the double bed in a loft - make sure you're comfortable with steep steps & a very low roof line in the loft area (we got used to it). The air-conditioning was needed (& worked well) due to the hot weather during our stay.

The apartment is on the top floor with an elevator directly to that level...wonderful to have in nearly anywhere in Europe! No view to speak of unless you lean out the windows but I wasn't there for the views...I wanted the great location in a one way, side street, just off the main route. I like to walk when I travel and this central location was perfect.
The quality of the improvements is very nice...much hand-milled woodwork and beautiful bath....no tub but not an issue for me. The shower is amazing Jacuzzi with shower heads everywhere along with great water pressure so you have a fun cleansing! Decidedly upscale appliances and fixtures.
Overall a very pleasant experience and I'd definitely return should I again visit lovely Milan!
