We stayed in the apartment for a few days at the beginning of February. The apartment was located fairly close to a number of metro stops which made it very easy to get into and out of the city centre, we used the Wagner stop which was about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. There was a reasonably sized supermarket at the end of the street which proved very handy as well as essentials such as tea left in the cupboards. We also found the apartment to be in walking distance (although it was a longish walk) of the bars in Navigli. The owner was friendly and waited for us to arrive after our flight was delayed and after we got lost trying to find the apartment. He provided us with drinks and snacks on arrival and was very flexible about check in and check out times. The bedrooms were nicely furnished with plenty of cupboard space and the sofa bed in the living room was comfortable and possibly the best bed in the apartment. The kitchen was very small as can be seen from the photos but fully furnished and we found it adequate for our needs. There was a cap on the amount of electricity that can be used at once but apparently this is fairly standard in Italy and wasn't too much of a problem. The only real problem we had was that using the apartment to its maximum capacity of 5 we found that there was not enough hot water for all of us to shower comfortably in the morning but aside from this inconvenience we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily stay there again if we were to return to Milan in the future.
We Stayed at the Washington Apt Dec 23rd to 27th and had a wonderful experience! The owners were very helpful all along the way providing excellent directions to the apartment and telephone support as needed! They met us cheerfully at the apartment even though we were late due to delayed flights. The apartment had everything as advertised. The kitchen is small as in the pictures but servicable and the table easily sat a family of 6. The bedrooms were very nice size and there was TONS of storage/closet space if you wanted to unpack. We were even provided umbrellas for the Rainy weather: THANK YOU :) We also had a complimentary Christmas Pan Forte waiting for us too. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Milan. It is in a neighborhood so you can walk about 2 city blocks to a full grocery and many resturants. Took about 10 minutes to walk to the Metro which is super easy to use and only takes a few minutes to wisk you downtown to the town center with no transfers. Nice Balcony too but was too rainy for us to use. We felt completely safe in this building too, very secure. Would recommend you google maps the address as it will show you where the apartment really is. The map on trip advisor is not accurate but if you google maps the address on satellite you can see the front door. FYI it is fairly easy to use the metro to get to the train station too. We went by metro to get the train to ROME with no problem at all. Nicola was very accomidating with our early check out too. Thanks Nicola and Happy New Year to you and your lovely wife.
