As others have commented, housed in the Palazzo, all three apartments are beautiful, both in terms of the architecture and interior design, each room adorned with old books and other manuscripts. The Stemmi suite comprises a double bedroom and a single bedroom overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard, a hallway and a bathroom. The suite was equipped with minibar, laptop, free good quality wifi, good quality Lavazza coffee maker with coffee (and tea) pods, 2 bottles of water a day. The bathroom is large with a circular whirlpool bath/over shower, two sinks and is very comfortable. We borrowed the family's CityBikes and spent a day cycling around the lakes and a day cycling to Peschiera along the River Mincio before returning by train. The building is around a 10 minute walk from the central piazzas and 5-10 minutes walk from Piazza Anconetta where there's free parking. Breakfast, if opted for, is plentiful and of good quality, served in the museum. As beautiful as the building is, what really makes this place special is the family who own and manage the museum and apartments. The Linardis are delightful, each of whom couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Francesca gives a superb tour of the museum and its glorious frescoes, paintings and sculpture. I highly recommend staying here. I travelled with my wife and 13 year old daughter.
