Excellent relaxing hotel. Spotless clean rooms and communal areas. Good variety for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent even with their limited English. Rooms were good size and well decorated with balcony, air conditioning and daily room service. The swimming pool was also a good size and had plenty of sun loungers. The hotel was right beside a number of restaurants and a short bus ride or half hour walk to the old town.

The Hotel Alsazia is centrally located in Colombare, close to shops, bars, restaurants and buses, yet is lovely and quiet and we had a beautiful view over the lake from our balcony. The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to get me tasty gluten free things for breakfast. The pool is in a quiet garden area and there were always enough sunbeds. It is a pleasant lakeside walk from the hotel to central Sirmione or, in the other direction, to Lugana. Our room and the whole hotel was immaculately clean and excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again if we were in this area.

Really happy to have stayed here. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with comfortable rooms with plenty of storage. The balcony from my top floor room had a fabulous view of the lake, a real bonus. The swimming pool was a decent size, you didn't get too dizzy doing lengths, and was always nice and quiet. It's only a very short walk from all the amenities of Colombare, including the bus stop to take you into Sirmione, though the walk down is lovely early in the morning. The staff were always helpful, the only reason it lost a mark is because the air-conditioning speed working one night, though I was offered another room and was given a fan when I chose to stay put.

I have just returned from spending a week at hotel alsazia and found it to be a friendly, welcoming hotel. Although it is not cheap, it is more competitively priced than other hotels in the area and although not in the centre of Sirmione, there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The centre of Sirmione is probably a 30 minute walk, which I didn't mind as the weather was always nice. The room was quite small but it had everything we needed and it had a balcony. The pool area is quiet and rarely busy therefore you are guaranteed a sunbed in a good spot. The only day it was busy was on Sundays but I still managed to get a well positioned sunbed. The staff are very friendly and their English is limited but we didnt have any problems with this, they always tried their best to communicate with us in our poor attempt at Italian. Overall we had a great experience at the hotel. Would love to stay here again.

Location:10 minute cycle to historic centre where most restaurants are.bikes provided for free by hotel.
Rooms:Clean. Double room was really two single beds pushed together. Quite annoying.
Staff:Very friendly but very limited English and the hotel is completely understaffed.reception usually empty.
Breakfast:no hot food.bread cheese ham and fruits.served until 9:30.
Overall:expensive for a very average hotel but this is normal for the area.
