This hotel is the epitome of low cost/no frills BUT it does it well. The area is scrappy....lots of weeds poking up through the concrete of the ‘shopping centre’ area it’s in which gives a bad first impression. I arrived on a Sunday evening so it looked even more desolate than normal (most bars and restaurants shut). My dog (Westie) and I got a warm welcome however and were given a code to enter the room (and the hotel if you want to get in between 2300-0700) and set off to our room (138).
It was the last room on the 1st floor and quite adequate. Spotlessly clean large double bed, shower room, desk and chair. Modern TV, some shampoo and soap, towels hairdryer etc etc. Floors throughout the hotel, rooms included, are ‘lino’ or whatever you call that these days! Frankly it doesn’t matter. It’s clean and cheap. It’s easy to find from the motorway which is great after a long day on the road and if you want there’s underground parking. I didn’t bother so saved myself 6 euros. I did however park outside the entrance so avoided the early morning sun on the car. Biggest problem was food! Breakfast was the only thing that was a bit disappointing. It’s only 7.50 euros but very very basic. Ok though. I may have been a bit late (0900). Would I go again? Yes maybe - if I couldn’t find something maybe one level up but it was certainly good value and clean.More
