Really good pizza in a basic but local place. Outside eating if you want. Good selection of beers and wine. Would happily return here.

Went there for a fast dinner, the staff speaks english, and friendly. There is no english menu, but the waitress helps you if dont understand something.
The pizza was thin and crispy as a real italian pizza should. The variety is quite big.

Pazzi per la Pizza is tucked away beside the road leading up to the Nervi junction of the autostrada, to the west of Genova. It's well worth finding. It's just a small restaurant with an indoor area overlooking the kitchen and an outdoor area in a small but pretty garden. It's simple, unpretentious, unfussy, but the food and service are really good. Very reasonable prices too. We ate salad and pizza with a bottle of red wine. The waitresses were helpful and friendly, despite being very busy on a Friday evening. It's well supported by local people. We were particularly lucky to get a table where we could see the chefs making the dough and cooking the pizzas. The place has a real buzz, with delivery guys coming in to pick up orders, people coming in to get their takeaways, and the rest of us sitting at tables talking and enjoying our meals. It's basic food, not ambitious, but a lot of skill goes into its preparation and cooking, and it's served with a natural, unforced, friendly service. A very lucky find of good food and an authentic Italian experience, as we were strangers in that area.

Simply the pizza is great. The pizzeria has two areas to sit in - Inside, one can listen to the local Calcio (soccer) game. Or you can sit outside in a nice area that has vines with lighting that is dim and romantic. This is nice, how often have we gone into a pub or pizzeria and the local soccer game is on full blast. Getting back to the food, I had a pizza. 1/2 Carfe of wine and a salad (huge), a full bottle of mineral water with gas - fare was just 18 €. Oh, the service was as good as the pizza. If you are staying at AC Hotel a short 2 minute walk for a take out.
