Everything about our stay was perfect! This was our favorite hotel of the five we stayed in this trip. Our room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable overlooking the old town of Monterosso. Both Giovanni and Stefania were gracious hosts who went out of their way to make this a wonderful experience. The location was everything I had hoped for, easy to find from the train station and Monterosso was fun to explore. Breakfast was excellent and the terrace was a comfortable place to relax after hiking the nearby trails. Highly recommend this B &B.

Locanda Il Maestrale is a lovely place to stay. The entry and breakfast room are charming and lead onto a terrace overlooking the street. Our room was decorated beautifully, and was very comfortable and quiet creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location near many restaurants.

We had a fabulous room overlooking the old town. The hostesses were so gracious from arrival to the best breakfast every day. Short walk to beach and train. It was so relaxing. Room was large with sitting area and we had above the amenities that big hotels offer. It was warm and the air conditioning was fabulous. Would love to come back.

Set in the old town and literally minutes from the beach, Loconda Il Maestrale is in the perfect location to get to anywhere in the town. The rooms and facilities are warm, colourful, very clean and well-maintained.

This family-run business is built on great values: The hosts care about you arriving and leaving with a smile on your face - I know this following a lovely conversation I had with them. It is rare that as a guest you are given such time to sit and talk to your hosts and their hospitality made us feel so welcome; it is clear that they just want to constantly improve the service that they offer.

The breakfast was exactly what it needed to be - a good selection of cereals, yoghurts, fruits, meats, cheeses, bread, eggs on request and great coffee. An ideal start to the day.

Exceptional value for money, a great base to access the town from and genuine hospitality in abundance. We’d go back tomorrow!

This hotel is in the center the action in the old part of the town. There are so many nice touches in the hotel. It’s beautifully decorated and is something special. Monterosso is less hilly than the other towns, so it’s easier to walk around, especially on hot days.
