The Gulf of Trieste is a bay of the Adriatic Sea which is shared by three countries, Italy, Slovenia (the whole length of the Slovenian coastline) and Croatia. While staying in Trieste we enjoyed views of the gulf from the Mole Audace, Strada Vicentina, Miramare Castle to name but a few.
A great place where you can get very romantic sunset view after having a cup of Italian (tourist) coffee
this place is partly rural, partly modern,
but romantic actually, good view on the sea
and harbour, especially about morning or autumn evening,
lot of benches, lot of fish attractions
and city centre is near,
I walked all the way back to town after visiting the Miramare castle along the coast, Really nice views out over the Gulf. At times it was a little windy, but still worth it. Remarkably clear water given the proximity to a larger city. Popular route with local cyclists and runners.
As we came to Trieste on a cruise we could really enjoy the views from the port of the beautiful town and sea coast. Lovely to walk along
