My wife and I were told about this place by a local cheese shop as an authentic Italian country cooking. The place was hard to find but it sure was worth the effort. The pasta was the best we have had and it is all home made in their kitchen. The late Great Pavarotti ate here when he came back home to Modena. There is no menu and the waiter (owner's son who spoke some English) listed the first course and after finishing the first course, he listed the second course. Both courses (Pasta and Meat) were local dishes and the best we have had. The trattoria was full of local workers and families. We recommend this place highly and we will be back every time we come to Modena.
