Great apartment. Great location. Central Bologna. Walking distance to great eateries and shopping. Walking distance to buses. If you are driving park in near by Piazza VIII Agosto. Don't forget to try the Ragu` or the mortadella.
We stayed here during our brief stopover in Bologna. The apartment itself was just as described. It was beautifully presented and clean throughout. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable for a night's sleep. In addition, the living area, bathroom and kitchen were all excellent.
The apartment is straightforward to get to from Bologna airport within 30 minutes or so using the Aerobus and walking. The train station is only 10-15 minutes away on foot. For Bologna itself, it's less than 10 minutes of walking to be in to the very centre.
Angela was a perfect host and very friendly. Angela met us for check-in where she provided us with a map of Bologna and talked us through the different areas/sights we should see (and eat at) to make the most of our night in this fine city. Our stay would not have been as enjoyable if Angela had not kindly shared her knowledge of the city with us! We only stayed for one night, but would have loved to spend more time in this beautiful city and apartment.
The appartment is very central, well equipped, clean and comfortable. What I also would like to stress: The coffee / expresso machine is fantastic! You can brew really Italian coffee in the morning. Next door in Borgo San Pietro street you can find a nice and good bakery, so you can pick up your breakfast quickly.
Angela is a wonderful host, she gave us a very warm welcome and lots of insider tips. During our stay, she was also very supportive and responsive and even helped us when we had special questions, for example when our son needed a doctor.
From the appartment not only the two Towers and the City Center are in Walking distance, but also the National Arts Gallery and several Museums. And the Train Station - if you are up to visiting other towns in Emilia Romana this is very helpful! My personal recommendation for Bologna: Not to miss fresh noodles made by Osteria del'Orso in Via Mentana, just 5-6 minutes away from the appartment. There you can buy the stuffed noodles, tagliatelle etc. to cook them at home or you can have lunch or dinner in the cosy premises for very cheap prises (starting from 6 EURO for Tagliatelle al ragu!
My partner Lesley and I stayed here last week. We had a terrific time; the flat has a very spacious bedroom, a very neat bathroom, with a washin machine, a reasonably sized living area, and a very well designed neat little galley kitchen with a very creative use of space, and a vet good gas cooker.
Angela is a charming host, who spent a good hour talikng to us when w arrived, sugesting good places to eat, (all good), and making us most welcome. She left milk, jam yoghurts, french toasts, and coffee and tea for our entire stay, very generous of her.
The only down side is the noise, but given the exellent location, well worth it, just take some ear plugs
We'd certainly stay here again.

The owner was very helpful, the apartment was clean and had all great facilities, but it was in the university area and across the road from a Bar that didn't close till 2am 6 nights a week. We found it impossible to sleep without sleeping pills and mentioned to the owner that shutters were necessary as it felt the patrons were in your house.
The owner also drove us to station and we really liked her and apartment except we couldn't sleep because of the noise the of the Bar across the road
