Spent several days in Rome at this sweet loft, which is perfect for a couple.
Lots of room to unpack in the stylish lofted bedroom (an entire wall of closet space) and plenty of room to spread out. We didn't really spend much time in the apartment, but loved it when we were there.
The decor is modern with lovely architectural details: bricked ceiling, massive, fun window (that lets in tons of light), cute little stairway to loft. On a quiet street off the main square. The apartment is on a very high first floor but we never heard noise from restaurants or bars and felt very safe.
Kitchen was stocked with quite a few items, but we really didn't use it--Trastevere is bursting with great restaurants. Bathrooms were modern and it was nice having 2 of them.
I suppose this apartment would be okay for a couple with a small child (on living area sofa), but it really seemed perfect for 2.
The only thing that would be a helpful addition is a washing machine (though there is a self-service laundry about 2 blocks away), especially since this place is perfect for a longer stay.
