Description: A restaurant near the Trevi FountainPiccolo Arancio is located in a tourist destination in the heart of Rome, just off the Piazza del Quirinale and the Trevi Fountain. Despite its central location, it's situated along a narrow and quiet alley. Due to its great position, this restaurant has a unique atmosphere: small but warm and cozy place. It's loved by local Italian people for lunch during working time. It's nice! Chef's recommended menu is mainly Roman cuisine with a lot of seasonal ingredients. And our restaurant features the pasta like typical dish made by Italian Mamma. Ravioli Arancio (Ravioli with orange sauce) and Fettuccine Ragu' di Abbacchio (long pasta with meat sauce of lamb) have a delicate source flavor and just quantity. Dolce is also ideal as a good conclusion after meal? Millefogli Frutti di Bosco (Mille-feuille of berry fruits) is recommended.

We were recommended to try here by the lady at our B&B who said she eats here herself and we were not disappointed. We turned up at 7pm with no reservation but we were warmly welcomed - had we been much later we would have had to wait as others did. A testament to how good this place is. Slightly off the beaten track but very popular. And the food was amazing - a truly authentic Italian restaurant! We all had pasta which was delicious washed down with a very nice bottle of rose. And then I had the best Tiramisu I've ever tasted! And all very reasonably priced considering the proximity to the Trevi Fountain. Try and visit if you can, you won't be disappointed!

While visiting Rome, my husband and I stumbled upon this place and even though they were extremely busy, they were able to fit us in. We got the smoked salmon gnocchi and fish for dinner and it was superb! The service was great and the food was better. It was a bit stuffy in the main dining room but otherwise fantastic! A great place to eat if visiting in Rome.

Best Italian restaurant not only in Rome but on the planet. I had the Orange Ravioli. By the time everyone had a taste we had to order more.

Lovely place just near Trevi, but in a quieter area, away from the crowd.
Great atmosphere, feels authentic. The food is simple and delicious, just as it should be.
Very friendly and attentive staff, quick service.
Tip: be sure to make a reservation or show up early, the place gets full quite quickly.

Just finished a delightful meal here. In a highly touristic area loaded with mediocre food mills, this place shines...
