We took the Vatican Sistine Express tour that provided early access to the Vatican. We had to arrive early! We got there at 6:50 and were glad we were 15 minutes or so of the time they told us to arrive. We were given headsets so we could hear the guide. We went in the Vatican by 7:30 and made our way pretty quickly down the long walk to the Sistine Chapel. Other than our group of 20 and the guards, we didn't see anyone else. We really didn't have time to look around at the gorgeous rooms we were going through other than a quick look around. When we got to the Sistine we were left on our own and could stay as long as we liked. After 30 minutes or so other people started to come in but we still were able to enjoy it in peace. We then left the Chapel and were able to go back to the start of the museum. We then spent hours touring the full museum on our own. If you want to see the Sistine with few people and really appreciate the beauty and history of this Chapel, I highly recommend this tour.
