I stayed in this apartment for 5 days with my adult son. It's in a great location, 5 minutes walk from St. Peter's Square and there are plenty of reasonably priced and good restaurants nearby. There is also a small supermarket opposite.
However we encountered several problems which detracted from our stay. First of all we were given the wrong directions, make sure you tell them exactly which airport you're arriving at!
Secondly, and probably most importantly, this is not a holiday apartment, it's the home of the owner who moves out for a few days and this made us feel quite uncomfortable. There was no shelf or drawer space for our clothes and so we had to live out of our suitcases. The apartment is advertised as having 3 bathrooms, this is not the case, there are only 2 and the toilet doesn't work properly in the en-suite.
Another problem was using the appliances in the kitchen. One of the advantages of a holiday apartment is being able to self cater. The oven was full of saucepans and dishes and the dishwasher was also full. When I enquired about using the washing machine ,I was told it was too complicated to explain.
The apartment was advertised as having Wi-Fi, there was certainly Wi-Fi there, but it didn't work the whole time we were there.
We were asked for a damages deposit on arrival which we weren't warned about and which was quite difficult to have returned.
After reading a previous review I asked if the apartment was quiet and was told it was. It wasn't, the bar next door is quite noisy and each evening ended about midnight with them throwing all their empty bottles into a skip.
It's a shame that this is the case as ,if it were a genuine holiday apartment, it would be quite a pleasant place to stay.

Lovely place, modernly equipped, really wonderful and helpful hosts Laura and Alex, quite central (10 min from Vatikan City), superb restaurant next door, supermarket and markethall in walking distance (5min)...a little noisy as bar next door and the temperatures were still high enough to stay outside!
