“Beautiful old Hamlet”
Reviewed 14 November 2015 for a stay in July 2015

I stayed here with my Husband and sister. It is a apartment in the Hamlet and is absolutely gorgeous. The property itself is gated and has some walking paths and olive trees. The apartment was very clean and comfortable -- we kept the shutters closed and fans running most of the time during the day to stay cool! I loved opening the shutters at night and in the morning to see the sunset and sunrise.

Fabio was a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed. He found us walking along the road to the apartment, gave us a ride, and then helped us find a place to do our laundry. He even let us store our luggage when we arrived several hours early (the one time we made it somewhere faster than anticipated!) We were able to buy groceries in town and made cooked our own meals. It was a very quiet, peaceful place to stay.

It is about a ten minute walk from the train station and a little difficult with rolling luggage. The ticket machine was never working at the Settebagni station so we made sure to buy extra tickets in Rome or at the cafe in town. We would travel to Rome each day and it took us around 30 minutes to get there from the time we left the apartment.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again :)

We are a family of 4 travelling through France and Italy for 6 1/2 weeks - we spent 6 night is this apartment over Nee Years - it was brilliant. The apartment is set on the fringe of Settebagni and is very close to trains, buses and the motorway. It is secure behind the fortified gates and offers privacy and space. It is incredibly peaceful after the hustle and bustle of inner city apartments. The apartment is very spacious and clean and offers lovely furnishings. It has everything you need if you want to be self sufficient but there are also some good eateries close by. Bedrooms, living and dining space was very roomy and despite it be sub zero temperatures outside we were very cosy inside. Very handy having 2 bathrooms when travelling as a family with young teenagers and the kids loved the privacy and independence their loft room provided. We were greeted warmly by Sarolta and overwhelmed by the generosity of Fabio our host who had provided a very generous welcome pack to get us settled. Thanks to them both for a wonderful Roman holiday - we had a time to remember!
