Loveliest staff in lady marmalade. Loved the cocktails, so nice and not badly priced for the taste. Really gorgeous cocktails and perfect location to sit and enjoy them :)

Bad food quality, no AC in the room, bad staff, overpriced... Never go there, it is a trap for tourists.

I am always suspicious of reviews that say avoid a place, but with a more than 15% service charge (which it is despite the bill stating that the service charge is 15% !! See below) this underwhelming place is laughing all the way to the bank - at our expense.

For example, our bill was €26. A 15% charge on this would add €3.9 to the bill so that it would total €29.9. What they actually charged was €30, so they "rounded up" the service charge in their favour, despite the fact you could pay exactly €29.9 if you paid by card, or they could give change if you paid by cash!

The actual service was not good, grumpy and disinterested, and the food was worse. Partner had pancakes and maple syrup. The stack of three pancakes were tepid at best and served on a plate with a dark black hairline crack from the edge to the centre of the plate. The middle pancake was rock hard and appeared to have been hanging around for a while.

Whilst we were there a customer knocked over a vase from the table and broke it. The waitress took the larger remaining part of the vase and flowers. She then returned with the flowers in a different container and just left the rest of the broken glass on the pavement by the table. Says it's all really.

We passed this place at lunchtime and were attracted by the offer of pizza and beer for 12 euros or pasta and wine for 15. Of course, as we learnt too late, this offer is for lunch only so the same at dinner time costs double. Wish we'd checked its rating before and then we could have avoided. Sorry to say but biggest rip off in Rome all week.

I must say the Gelato is great.
But as always there is one miserable person ( woman ) that works there (so to speak) the Gents are nice enough, but the waitress is just nasty. I would recommend this place for Gelato, but don't stay to get aggravated by the toxic people who simply don't want to be there.
