We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and am so glad we came here.
Just 2 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain it is a little gem.
Only small but we were lucky to get a table (rustic benches) and ordered the meat and cheese board to share (10 euros each). It was fantastic. Served on a bread board that was about 2 foot long it was filled with cured meats, cheese, bread, olives and pickles and was absolutely delicious.
We ordered a bottle of house white wine to go with it but did,'t check the prices first and was delighted when we paid the bill that it was only 9 euros and tasted lovely.
The whole experience was rounded off by the music which was an excellent mix of 70's rock with the likes of Pink Floyd and Genesis to name a couple.
Love this place.

This place is easily missed if you're not looking for it but it is worth the look. It's small and cosy but the platters are fantastic. Good quality ingredients and reasonably priced too.

This was the 2nd best meal we had in Italy, the best being the meal we had in the Florence branch of this restaurant. We ordered the large board for 2 people, with meat and crostinis but no cheese, and a half bottle of house red. The presentation was fantastic and the selection of salami, mortadella, parma ham, olives, salad, fruits, and sun-dried tomatoes was delicious. It came with bread, and some slices of toast wth various spreads. For 20 euros it was tastier and better value than any of the other restaurants we went to Italy.

They just have standing room and small tables with benches to sit on - expect it to be very crowded at meal times. The one in Florence is slightly more spacious, but the decor is the same with the large counter display and the hams hanging from the ceiling.

Can not recommended this place enough! This place is different from other restaurants tho, because they don't have a license to serve you, so you have to order at the bar. Also wine is on shelves and you can choose your own wine, and they provide glasses and a corkscrew. It might not be for everybody, but we loved it!!!
We ordered the meat platter , which was €10 per person, and omg it was massive!!! So delicious and tasty! And so cheap for the amount!
Definitely recommend this place to all your friends!!!

A place worth a visit even only because of the athmosphere. The 10 euro taster was ok, but could have included more meat. 20 and 30 euro versions looked much better in terms of price vs. contents.
