The Vacanze Guest House, was everything it advertised. The owner Gabriele, (the owner) who was very helpful, was there to greet us, and have prepared a document with local information for us, supermarkets, attractions there were not filled with tourist, restaurants near by. The apartment was clean, and adequately supplied with everything we needed to prepare a meal. We enjoyed coming back to the apartment after a long day of sight seeing and relaxing on the large sofa in the front room. Normally this would not be a plus, but, there was a bus stop across the street from the apartment , (we did not hear the buses inside the apartment ) which took us all over the city. Being city people, we loved to be able to get to all the major attraction, by bus or metro.

Vacanza Romane is a lovely apartment with a very friendly and attentive host. Gabriele was meticulous in helping us with the booking and booked us a taxi from Fulminico airport. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is very close to San Giovanne metro affording a quick trip to the main sites. However you can walk leisurely to the coliseum. Gabriele provided a range of suggested local restaurants which did not disappoint. Away from tourist areas these small authentic establishments were frequented by Romans and served excellent food and wine at great value. This really enhanced our vacation. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to any traveller.
We loved staying in Rome, and the flat we rented was perfect for our family of four. Spacious, very clean and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the quaint street below. I highly recommend this property!
So glad we picked an apartment stay rather than hotel. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are ideal when travelling with family. Nice little balcony. Only a couple of minutes from metro station and a bus stop outside which number 81 bus takes you to all major sights without paying tourist guide rates!! 1.50 euros for 100 minutes travel.
Apartment is very clean with 2 good showers and plenty of wardrobe space and nice little area to sit for a morning coffee. ( Try coffee shop across rd over zebra crossing for a coffee and pastry in morning, 7euros for 3 capacinnos and 4 pastries and all taste delicious!!!)
Well done to our host Gabrielle for a fine apartment and good holiday tips.
We were a group of two couples who stayed for three nights in November 2015. The flat was perfect for our needs - it's very close to lots of public transport, meaning you can be in the centre of Rome in 15 minutes, and it's in a lovely residential area. It's also possible to walk into Rome too - this takes about 20-25 minutes and we did it lots.
The flat itself is beautiful, recently refurbished and very stylishly done so. Gabriele, the owner, was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us from the airport (which if you're a group of 4 is cheaper than getting the direct train) and he was there to meet us when we checked in, giving us some useful tips. We would definitely stay here again.
