Pina & Co. have been the best Air BnB host I have experienced yet. From a delicious bottle of wine upon arrival and a free Italian phone to use during our stay, we were in need of nothing. Pina was incredibly flexible as to when we (myself and my boyfriend) checked in, and even met us at the metro station to walk us to the flat. The flat was absolutely beautiful. My first comment upon walking in- "It's even better than the pictures!", which it certainly was. The place was immaculately clean- not a spec of dust in sight. Every room has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, with pretty decor throughout. It could not have been more perfect! Myself and my boyfriend both said how nice it was to get away from the tourist throngs of the day and return to peace and quiet at night. Staying in a neighborhood outside of the city centre also gave us a glimpse of how Romans live. I should also comment on how easy it was to get to all major tourist attractions from the apartment. In short- I could not recommend this apartment more. It was very romantic, and I'd recommend it to couples, a group of friends, or even a small family. Thank you Pina for giving myself and my boyfriend an unforgettable Roma experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed the location slightly removed from the busy centre in a truly authentic Roman neighbourhood. The apartment is located minutes from the Metro which provides direct & easy access to all of Rome's sites. I also enjoyed the great park at the end of the street which included the ancient aqueducts which years ago transported water into the City from afar - vibrant with all the locals walking, running & biking. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need for your stay and is very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and would stay again should we return to Rome. You must try Secret Garden Pizzeria recommended to us by Pina, our host - authentic Roman neighbourhood restaurant, great vibe & amazing pizza!
This was the best place! Pina and Marco, her son, met us at the metro station and walked with us back to the apartment. Along the way, they pointed out the best places to eat, the ATM, the grocery store, and bakery. The walk was not too far, and easy to find on our own later.
The apartment was comfortable, and we could tell it had been well taken care of. It has recently been updated and is beautiful.
Pina walked through our itinerary with us and gave suggestions and told us of some short cuts to make it more pleasant. She even helped us avoid missing the Coloseum! There was going to be a big celebration on the day we planned to visit and it was going to be closed. We were able to rearrange our schedule in order to see it.
The grocery store is close and Pina made sure we had the basics of most things in a small welcome basket when we arrived.
Pina was in touch with us throughout our stay to be sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything.
Staying in an apartment was such a good idea. We felt more relaxed and we're able to mix things up if we chose to.
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Rome and we will definitely be staying with Pina again!
Thank you, Pina for the wonderful time!
We are so glad to have found Pina's apartment and stay there. She gave us lots of her valuable tips and her warmth and friendly personality with her husband, great sense of humour make us feel at ease right away. We highly recommend her place if you are planning to visit Rome. Her place is cosy and it is just like coming to your own home. It is so good to get away from the touristic area after the day and to have a 24h supermarket and delicious bakery nearby. If you love coffee, espresso is a must to try! We learn so much from Pina as she took us to see the street art and shared about the history of Rome. She is very passionate as a tour guide. She is very knowledgeable. We can see that it is her passion. We come as guest but leave as friends. What a delight! Thank you Pina and Leonardo (the wine is very good - especially for someone (Elizabeth) who doesn't really take red wine. Hope we visit Rome again and see you! Grazie Mille! Ciao! ;-)
