“Perfect Apartment with Transportation to all Key Spots in Rome”
Reviewed 17 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My daughter and I recently stayed at this apartment on our first visit to Rome. We were surprised to see that the metro stop is just 1/2 block from the apartment and Sun and Silvia gave us good information about using it to get to the apartment. The apartment has been refurbished and is very comfortable, functional and nicely decorated. Silvia met us to tell us about the apartment as well as answer our questions. She recommended a nearby restaurant which was fabulous as well as a supermarket. The apartment was an ideal hub to visit the Coliseum, Vatican and museum, Roman Forum and other sites in Rome. We were no more than a 10-15 minute metro ride to any of the great sites. We had a fabulous time in Rome and owe much to our wonderful "local" home.

“Perfect Place! Comfortable and Convinient.”

Very comfortable and clean apartment. Very quiet at night because windows in both bedrooms are facing quiet court yard. One bedroom has queen size bed, and the second bedroom has king size bed. Both beds are soft and comfortable.

Everything works well in the bathroom and kitchen. Shower might be a little tight for someone big but they still can manage it. Hallway size is comfortable to walk through and put some things there. Ceilings are high. Kitchen is combined with living room so you can comfortably have your meal at the table and easily move to the couch to watch TV with large flat screen. Couch can be unfolded into a futon bed for two extra people if needed.

Kitchen is fully eqiuped with all you need, only coffee maker is for one person, so we used a regular pot to make coffee for the 4 of us. We stayed here a week, and we bought supplies of napkins, toilet paper, soap, and laundry detergent ourselves.

Location is great. You can see metro station from kitchen window, it is just near the building you are in. Direct metro line to Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. You can easily walk to St. Giovanni Church, Colloseum, Roman Forum, and National Museum. Actually we hiked home once from the Vatican which is the most remote sight in downtown, and it took us about 35 minutes. Re Di Rome square has markets, cafes, restaurants so you can get all you need cheaper than in tourist places in downtown. There is a pizza place next door, we ate pieces of different kinds of pizza for 15 eur for all 4 of us. The best gelato we liked in Rome is also on this square.

The hallway from the street to the apartment is wide and clean. The apartment is on high first floor (not ground floor), and there is a small old style elevator if needed. There is also an elevator from the park at the square down to metro station.

Parking is available for 15 eur per day in the garage nearby. You definitely don't need a car to get around the city if you stay in this apartment, especially with the confusing pattern of one-way street driving in Rome and parking complications in downtown. However it is convinient to have a car if you plan to visit the countrysde.

There was a problem with the internet connection when we came, and it was important for us. Our hos. Silvia, contacted the internet provider, and ther were able to fix it comparatively quick, from Thursday night to Monday.

Photos of the apartment uploaded by the host discribe it perfectly, there is no need to add other photos.

Our hosts Silvia and Sun are very friendly, ready to help fix problems, if any. They gave us a lot of good advice about places in Rome. We had a very good and relaxing time staying in this apartment, we definitely recommend it to anyone, and we will definitely stay there when we go to Rome again. Thank you Silvia and Sun!
