This complex was built by Domitian but was inaugurated by Nerva after the death of Domitian in 97 AD. This location was also known as “transitorium”, is located between the forums of Augustus and Caesar. As with the forum of Augustus, most of this forum lies buried under via dei Fori Imperiali. What remains to be seen is the ruins of Temple of Minerva, two tall Corinthian columns of the colonnade. Atop the columns is a bas-relief of the Goddess Minerva. Along the frieze is a detailed story in relief.
