Hotel was very nice and has some really great features. It is a bit of a distance from a lot of the main attractions but it is still in a good spot. Staff was very friendly and the hotel breakfast was very good.

This hotel is clean, modern, and well located. It was the perfect location for our two days in Rome. This staff is kind and welcoming and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast, which is included, is very nice, and we also enjoyed a happy hour drink one afternoon, which was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: We were traveling with our two teenagers and had to book two rooms. No big deal.

We visited here for my husbands 30th birthday. We arrived slightly earlier than check in so we were able to leave our bags with reception and go explore/have lunch.

Once checked in we were taken out of the building, up the street and into another building that you needed a key card/room key for. The concierge said these rooms were bigger and better even though they weren’t situated in the main building with the bar etc. They called this part the annex. (Unsure if they are paid to say that or not).

Nevertheless the room was spacious and clean and suited us perfectly. The only hassle was having to get up and ready in the morning to walk down the street to the main building for breakfast!

The spread they have for breakfast is rather impressive for a smallish hotel, however I don’t think they have enough room in the dining area for guests as there were occasions that people had to wait on a table.

The price of drinks at the bar are very very expensive. I know you always expect prices in hotels to be more expensive but this is like double the price your thinking. For 2 gin and tonics, it was over £50 - I didn’t even pay that much in the fairmont or ritz chain for gins. So avoid drinking at the bar at all costs.

The location of the hotel is relatively close to all your main attractions - travi fountain, Spanish steps, pantheon and colosseum. We managed to walk everywhere but we do like to explore and see the sights so we didn’t mind a 20-30min walk to some places.

Overall we did enjoy our experience at this hotel and would recommend it but just make sure your in the main building and don’t buy drinks from the bar.

Dear Guest,

Thank you to have choose our Hotel for your recent stay here in Rome !

We are deeply sorry that you remember paid € 50,00 for two Gin Tonic .... Our price list says € 12.00 for a Gin Tonic or € 15.00 for a drink plus a big variety of finger food during the evening aperitif so we don't understand why you paid so much.

The annex building (it's the same Hotel property) is just 10 meters far from the main building and we apology we didn't met your expectations on this.

Best Regards,

This hotel was amazing. The staff, very kind and helpful. The room we had was a studio in the new section. It was spotless, and new with a very modern look. The included breakfast was incredible, best we have ever had at a hotel that included breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Rome, we would definitely stay at The Rome Times Hotel again.

This hotel is wonderful! The hotel is very clean and modern and the staff is amazing! As an American, sometimes European accomdations can take me a moment to adjust to. But not this place, it was wonderful and still had all the European charm. Wonderful hotel, very close to all the major sites, we walked everywhere! I very much recommend it!!
