“Perfect place to stay in Rome”

We stayed one week in this superb apartment and really enjoyed our stay. We were 3 adults and the apartment was spacious enough for us. The building is nice, centrally located and safe. A lot of excellent restaurants at just two streets from the apartment, close to the Trevi fountain and most of the main attractions. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The photos are true to the reality. And the hosts are really friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this apartment!

“Elegant, character filled apartment”

This is a superb apartment in a beautiful old building built around 1900, I believe. The photos are a good reflection of the quality of the place, and the ambience. I could never quite believe that I was staying in such an elegant, character filled building, the main entrance of which was through a huge wooden door which would have kept a Roman legion at bay. Once through the doorway, one gives a friendly wave of acknowledgement to the concierge and then stops to admire the superb sculpture at the end of the archway.

The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, and sparkling clean. One enters through a small entrance room into the main lounge area which - along with the bedroom - has gorgeous shuttered windows. There are a couple of superb pieces of antique furniture, as well as a functional lounge, newly covered, and a small, effective kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, etc. The bathroom is spacious and its tiles glisten.

The whole apartment spells elegance, and it was an absolute privilege to stay here for four nights. It is located on a busy road, but the apartment is tucked away from the noise as its windows look into the lovely central courtyard, and the great wooden door is closed each night, providing security as well as quietness.

Just behind the apartment lies the Palazzo Barberini (ask Pier to show you the shortcut along a quiet pathway). Just a few steps along the main road is the Quattro Fontane (the Four Fountains), and further along lies one of the most gorgeous little churches in Rome - Bernini's Sant' Andrea al Quirinale.

I'm sure you'll love staying at this beautiful apartment - it will enhance your Rome holiday experience. And Pier and his wife are a pleasure to deal with. I believe they are bringing a couple of other apartments on line soon.
