“7 days in Rome”

Highly recommend Simon's Suite! Simone was there to greet us when we arrived, supplied us with a map of the city and recommend places to visit and eat. He also supplied us with a cell phone if we needed any assistance during our stay. It is a 10 min walk to Termini train station, to catch the airport train and speed trains to any destination in Italy. 10 min walk to the two main metro lines in Rome if you don't like to walk. A/C was a plus since we arrived during a heatwave and was able to sleep at night.

“An excellent location and experience”
Reviewed 7 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We enjoyed the 6 days in Rome. The apartment was nicely placed close to the train station and we walked everywhere. It took about an hour to get to the most distant place we visited which was the Vatican. There were buses and subways close by if you wanted to use them but we didn't feel the need. The apartment itself had everything we needed. The market outside was convenient for grabbing fruit and vegetables but was closed up by 3PM. There was a nice restaurant and a large super market close by so having food for breakfast or a late snack was never a problem. If you are a light sleeper, however, you may want to use the loft bed as it is quieter if you want to sleep in. Simone provided a cellphone which gave a nice sense of security. He even arranged a taxi to take us to the airport since we had an early flight out. I would recommend this place highly.

“Simone is the best friend you could ever have!”
Reviewed 20 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We stayed at Simone's apartment on our first visit to Roma 17 October to 20 October 2014. Communication and description were seamless prior to our arrival. Simone always had a prompt reply. This is a convenient location to the Termini several blocks away but in a nice walkable neighborhood with local markets, restaurants, and Conad supermarket. The best gelato in Roma is a short stroll away. There is a tasty bakery next door and a nice Italian restaurant for your dining. After your long journey, you are quickly made to feel at home at Simone's. He is a great resource of knowledge and helpfulness providing a cell phone for emergencies. This is a lively unique neighborhood with character. There is daily market in the street of which we found to be quite charming. Roma is a very walkable city and this a great location to start your tour or just hang out in the neighborhood with its wonderful cafes and gelaterias. Simone went beyond our expectations and helped us out at the train station when we left Rome. We were gone a month and had a lot of luggage. He helped us to obtain our tickets in a busy Termini and assisted us to the train quite a long trek. He is the best friend you will ever meet in Rome!

“Friendly host - comfortable apartment.”
Reviewed 14 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Simone is a friendly helpful host who wants you to enjoy his apt.
He speaks at least 3 languages well.
We met after simple & accurate directions to the apt.
Simone then spent time showing us how everything worked & supplied maps and details
of local points of interest.
We found it comfortable & well stocked with more than expected - especially the kitchen!
Oil, balsamic, salt&pepper, sugar, coffee! - even ice cubes!!
(I've stayed in one apartment where there was only 1 roll of toilet paper - nothing else!)
And the welcome Prosecco was a generous touch (thanks Simone).
Close enough to Termini for easy access to everything.
Full service market a few blocks away.
One evening, after being out all day, it was nice to enjoy a really good seafood dinner at the restaurant downstairs just outside the door (sorry, can't recall the name).
Street market right outside the door most mornings - good for fresh fruit at breakfast!
A little "heads up" to our fellow travelers: take ear plugs (we always do).
The street market is in full swing most mornings -
so if you want to sleep later than 6 a.m......

“Simon Wins - His Apartment has EVERYTHING for the Perfect Roman Stay”
Reviewed 12 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

SimonSuite is located in a very colourful neighbourhood of Rome. Very easy to locate from Termini Station, the apartment is just off the main road, one floor up. We travelled for 11 weeks and stayed in many apartments, however Simon has thought of EVERYTHING - including an iron & board, toaster ( no places have a toaster) we pan fried our bread (haha) A clothes line with pegs - not to mention dishwasher/washing machine - a little stool for short people like me to reach the higher cupboards...you name it - it was there - even a little screwdriver set!!!! loads of maps. he was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage early, and he organised the cleaner to have the apartment ready a couple of hours earlier. he meets and greets and gives loads of info. Even a couple of bottles of bubbles. The location was really perfect and everything was just a bus trip away. The No 64 -affectionally known as the Pic-Pocket Express - because it is packed to the rafters and you are the an easy target ( as in any crowded situation) - gets you to most central locations - if you enjoy a walk - you can reach most locations within 20 minutes. After 10 weeks of walking we were happy to catch a bus ( however walking was sometimes quicker). We enjoyed the daily changing markets and also the local restaurants and people watching the locals. A wonderful 4 days of roaming the Roman ruins..
