... with such pleasant surprises. Everything was so smooth from the booking, till checking out. They pay attention to the details that made our stay so memorable. At check in at about noon, our rooms were not yet ready so we left our luggage with them and went out for lunch. When we got back to collect our bags to head to our room, Claudia said they have been sent to our room. So thoughtful! The best surprise for us was in the room - a PERSONAL TRAVEL ASSISTANT - Manet. A smartphone was waiting for us fully charged with Internet and 4G access, ticket & deals, city guide and some basic apps. It made our trip so much more efficient as we explored the city... got us to where we wanted to go, with brief explanations of the places we visited ... and so much more. The room was clean and spacious and I love the simple and chic deco. It’s also close enough to the Metro.

We were a bit concerned about the location of this hotel but were pleasantly surprised. The location was great, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything was walking distance or a short taxi drive away. The breakfast was great. We had two stays, pre a s post cruise (5 days and then 2 days) and were able to leave luggage in storage for a week. Also we got in early in the morning and the rooms weren’t ready and the staff stored our luggage and placed it in the room once it was ready. Last but not least was the phone that was provided. We were a large group with 4 rooms and this was a great way to communicate with each other. This phone had lots of perks like GPS, audio guides and even free international calls! Would not hesitate to recommend or stay in this hotel again.

Not only was it one of the bigger rooms we stayed at on our trip around Italy, but it also had some added features not available elsewhere. Our favorite item included was a smart phone which allowed the user to make free international/local calls, texts, and unlimited data. It also had an app on it which showed how to navigate the city easier including the bus and metro schedules. The hotel also had a spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, fridge, and heated towel rack. The hotel restaurant was very good offering a wide variety of drinks and food. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful with directions around town. We also had breakfast with our room. Although not an American buffet, it did offer a good variety for Italian hotel breakfast bars. Overall great hotel with a good price! Will definitely boo there again when we go back!

Spent 5 nights at Smooth Hotel, and loved it! Room for 4 was spacious, clean and modern. Very cosy feel.
Has a kettle, with coffee and tea satchels provided.

And buffet breakfast was included. Breakfast variety was really good & yummy.

Short 10 min walk from Roma Termini, location seems near to a few embassies coz we saw some soldiers in e area near hotel. Therefore, it’s quite a safe and peaceful area, slightly away from crowds. It’s also quite near to another one of the Metro stops and a supermarket is nearby.

Only issue is that no hairdryer or bedroom slippers provided. Wish there is also space to put toiletries in shower area.

Hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations/directions.

Would come back here again!

A special mention to the lady who checked us in . I should have noted her name - she was not too tall and slightly dark haired . She is the best staff I have ever seen in my travels . Very efficient and quick and helped us with all our questions . It took less than a minute from entering the hotel to get to our room plus getting all our questions answered . She gave us a great room on the fifth floor with a view . Have us great tips on bus routes . Hotel was excellent and had a great sleep . Breakfast was average . The next day the lady at the front desk a taller person was the exact opposite - she was slow for checkout and very rude . Our taxi arrived 10 mins late which is a lot when u are timing for a flight at 7am. She tells us - nothing will change for you if u wait 5 mins . Forget about apologizing and here was mocking us for getting anxious.
