our small group of 10 spent two nights here. We had just come from 4 days in the Sabine Hills on a cooking course, so this was such a contrast but we enjoyed staying in The Hiberia. The service was excellent and the location was perfect for exploring the city. All the main sights were in easy walking distance. Whilst the hotel had its own restaurant, which was good, there is nothing in the main vicinity for eating, if you like trying different places, so a walk out is required. Would stay here again

Hiberia is a nice hotel within walking distance to many of the top attractions. Colosseum and forum10 minutes down the hill, Trevi fountain within 15 minute walk. Spanish steps just a little further. The room was clean and quiet, that double glazing works wonders. We were on the first floor and overlooked an alley so no natural light in the room. It was also very warm despite turning the temp control down. Bathroom had a nice shower. Hairdryer was a trigger sort but unlike most hairdryers that couldn't blow out a candle this one actually dried my hair. Kettle and tea/coffee provided, just call down for milk. There is a fridge/mini bar. no price list. Safe in wardrobe. Small bar on ground floor. Wine very expensive. Restaurant next door is where you get the buffet breakfast. Good range of rolls, pastries and meat, cheese and spreads. We also ate there in the evening. Very tasty ravioli and pasta. Opposite hotel is a gelateria well worth a visit or 3. Round the corner is a small cafe/bar.
Bus 64 will take you to St Peter's square. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was on the fourth floor and we found ourselves overlooking the rooftops of Rome, an inspiring sight especially as it has just snowed. It is so easy to keep writing various things about an hotel but this one is great. The staff were always helpful, the room and service was good though I do wish there had been more furniture with drawers in to put clothes within our room. The hotel has its own restaurant where breakfast was served every morning and, honestly, you could not want for more there.
It was all within easy walking distance of the Termini, Trevi fountain, the Parthenon and the Spanish Steps and only a few yards away is a bus stop where buses seem to go in all directions all over the city.
If there was a drawback it was that, apart from its own restaurant, there weren't many in the immediate vicinity.

Stayed at this hotel almost a year ago, we picked it because of the surroundings. The hotel had clean rooms, great breakfast and it was really close to the Trevi Fountain... It has train stops close and accessible to other touristy attractions. Hotel was clean, and the staff was courteous and super helpful. The front desk personnel knows English, my boyfriend even practiced his Italian for a while... We arrived early and they stored our belongings while we went around before check-in. Some features could be fixed or modernized, but the overall stay was very good. This is a hotel to consider if you are thinking about traveling to Rome!

Room tip: Outdated bathroom, clean spaces, great breakfast, close to public transportation

Found this hotel in central Rome for £100 for two nights with breakfast and WiFi. Amazing Value! Staff were friendly and even though it is showing it’s age we could not fault it. It was a 10 minute walk to the Forum and across the road was an amazing gelati parlour!
