The location of this hotel was going to be a plus. Easy access to tourist sights. When I arrived at the hotel I was pleased with the room and facilities. The front desk staff were pleasant. The staff in the dinning room not so much.
The pros for this stay were the location, front desk staff and the size and comfort of the room. The cons however were that the noise detracted from anything positive about my stay. People in the corridors could be heard. People in their rooms could be heard. Staff cleaning as they dragged furniture around could be heard. Nothing from outside was to be heard.
Moving rooms would not help.
Such a shame.

This hotel is in an excellent spot for visits to the Vatican, in fact a great view from outside the front door. A walk to the hop on hop off bus tours is about 15 minutes, which gets you to all the touristy places. The hotel overall is modern and very clean and the rooms comfortable and spacious with the only downside the amount of noise that travels between the rooms and from the corridors. Light sleepers will struggle with the tapping of heels through the corridors and the excessive noise from other rooms everytime someone moves a piece of furniture (this seems to happen more than you think).
Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, along with the concierge at all times. The only disappointing staff were the breakfast restaurant staff who were unfriendly, bordering on rude (except one young lad on Sunday morning).

Fantastic hotel right across the street from Vatican City. The rooms are modern, ultra-clean, quiet and smoke-free. Every morning the hotel hosts a free buffet breakfast complete with waitstaff - this is no continental breakfast, but a giant spread of first class food, fresh and hot! Finally, the service staff are very patient and professional, exceptionally friendly, and as helpful as I could ever have hoped. Add to all of this the fact that the cost per night is more than reasonable, and the picture is complete. If (when) we return to Rome, this is, without a doubt, where we will stay again.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of St. Peter's Basilica - it's gorgeous after dark.

Although the location is a perfect 5-star with St. Peter's in view from my room's balcony, the hotel was at least a 4+ star, with modern rooms and large bathrooms. The front desk staff were professional and it was an easy check in and check out. The breakfast buffet was large and the wait staff were attentive and helpful. Not only were the beds comfortable but the rooms were very quiet and I did not hear any outside noise. Also the price was excellent! This is my third trip to Rome, and I will for sure try to stay here on my next visit.

This is a great hotel situated a stones throw away from the Vatican and a good base from which to explore the amazing city of Rome.
The bed was really comfortable, hotel spotlessly clean and welcoming and the rooms tastefully decorated.
Breakfast was good and staff friendly.
Taxi back to the airport not too expensive - would recommend a taxi transfer though as we got the bus to the hotel and it was quite tricky, requiring 2 buses (and they were busy!!)
All in all, a great stay! Would highly recommend!!
