Very beautiful place. Lots to see inside and not too crowded where you can’t move. Reasonable priced little gift shop with suggested donations. Definitely glad I’ve had a look at such a beautiful building

Go see the Pantheon if you're in Rome. It was built as a Roman temple and then converted to a church. That conversion probably saved the structure because the church took care of it.

It's really impressive on the inside. The rotunda with the oculus at the top.is something to see. Hard to describe it adequately so go see it for yourself. If you don't like it, you can leave immediately.

And entry is free.

This building has an interesting history and is a work of art in itself. The challenge is to see it with large crowds coming and going. It is popular and it is an area of the city with many tourist sites, so gets a lot of traffic. To get good pictures, consider coming early. Recommended.

We did this tour without a guide so had no insider knowledge of the historical significance but when in Rome it is worth popping in for sure.

Fantastic building, free to enter, can take your time to wander round, just as impressive inside as it is outside.
