Very crowded, once you’ve seen it you’ve seen everything, don’t waste money on a poor tour. Gladiator tours for the colosseum were 5/10, the actual thing is impressive but you don’t need longer than 30 mins.

Lots of history and it’s amazing that this is still standing but get ready for the crowds unless you go early in the morning. Had to fight to get a good spot for the pictures. We used a tour company which was helpful and efficient to navigate through the structure.

Just love it. Skip the queue tickets booked online in advance avoids the very lengthy queue. It’s just an amazing site to visit a definite must on a trip to Rome

Can be enjoyed without entering. Interesting once inside. Areas in front of the colosseum crowded with vendors, tourists, pickpockets, vagrants, beggars and sketchy characters. OK if you are part of a guided tour, otherwise, long lines and wait times.
