The trevi fountain is a must see if you are visiting Rome! Such a spectacular, beautiful sight, surrounded by restaurants and bars. The fountain is incredible and easy to get to.

An impressive fountain however massive crowds and littering pretty much ruined the whole scene. Seriously it’s the kind of place you could sit for twenty minutes in silence for but the massive crowd meant it was insufferable. Do not recommend.

Lovely and completely unexpected as you round the corner to find it. A must if in Rome and don’t forget to throw in a coin to ensure you return some day. Very busy so mind your wallet/bags when there

We strolled by one afternoon about 4:30 and it was a zoo. We went back the next morning around 9am and although part of the walking area around it was closed because they were cleaning it, it was still beautiful.

I was very fortunate to be staying at an apartment about three blocks from the Trevi Fountain.. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was finally in front of such magnificent monument. Even though it was terribly crowded, people are considerate enough to move around when one is taking pictures. It is amazing to think that one can live in a city where you find hundred and thousand year old buildings and sculptures just walking around the corner. This exquisitely made fountain is made up of several ‘scenes’ one can take pictures of, and each station is made around the main majestic one. I’ll go back again to throw a coin in the fountain!
