This was only the second restaurant that we visited for during out 6 days in Rome ... and it was so good that we chose not to go anywhere else for dinner after that.
The food was great - some dishes (such as the Veal Shank) were so tasty that we had them more than once.
The highlight for me, as a Tiramisu fan, was that they do Tiramisu "made at the table" - the waiter / waitress spends a few minutes at your table making your dessert while you watch (and video it, of course :-))
My wife used to love tiramisu too, but has not had it since becoming gluten intolerant a few years ago ; we mentioned this to the waitress, who said "No problem - we do gluten free tiramisu as well". We'd never heard of or seen gluten free "Lady Finger" sponge biscuits before, so this was a real treat. Seeing how pleased my wife was at this, the staff generously offered to get us a supply of the gluten free sponges - and the next time we visited the restaurant we walked away with a nice bagful.
The restaurant brings bread and bruschetta for all customers at the start of the meal, and had some gluten free bread available. When we asked if they could do gluten free bruschetta too, they did their best with their available bread on the first night, then had a much more suitable bread available on our subsequent visits. They repeatedly made the effort to adjust and ensure that mealtimes were enjoyable.
Best of all, when the tiramisu was made at the table, I managed to get them to leave the almost empty jug of mascarpone and the wooden spoon at the table so that I could scrape our every last drop of the delicious cream (I struggled mightily, and managed to avoid licking the jug) ... seeing this, on subsequent visits the waitress made a point of surreptitiously giving me a little bowl of extra cream on the side. Little touches like this may be minor to the staff, but they make a big impression about how they are looking to make you feel welcome.
