The waiter and help do not speak English but it doesn't really matter. Best item was roasted artichoke heart. I did order the meatballs that we felt were overpriced and only so so. The house wine was very good, limoncello too strong. It seems to be popular with the local men for dinner.

We have visited this restaurant several times and each time it is fantastic. Owner is super nice and always checks on the table, the meals are always fresh and fantastic and hot right from the kitchen, the location is really easy to get to and parking is just in front of the restaurant and we have never had a problem.

Highly recommended if you are seeking a traditional Roman style meal; just fantastic. Bring an appetite and make sure to order the antipasti misti (comes with mixed cheese, salami, etc.), their specialties in the first and second course are too good to pass up and if you are not comfortable ordering a traditional meal their steaks and meats are amazing. I love the pepe verde steak and have tried several others; all wonderful. Their table wine is quite nice and you can do by the glass, 1/2 liter, or full liter. Deserts are fantastic as well.

Sits back just a few meters from Via Cassia but you can miss it if you don't pay attention especially during the day because of signage not being large. Go to google street view and you'll locate quite easy.

If you are one of those wackos that demands "gluten free" or "Halal food" just head back to where you came from... Rome is NOT for you.

Enjoy and please leave a review for this very nice family owned business that will surely fill you beyond capacity. :-)

Friendly service, excellent food! We enjoyed every item from fried vegetables to pasta (lasagna, fettuccine, gnocchi) to second course (rabbit) to dessert. The house made red wine was tasty as well. Highly recommend if in the area!
