The Via Ostiense is booming with new little eateries and watering holes and the recently opened Sorso (a sip!) is a great find. We were enchanted by the young owner's passion about sourcing the best products. Their farmhouse charcuteries, artisanal cheeses and wines all come from small producers which they have personally visited. Each slice of salami and sip of wine has a story which they are eager to share with you. They don't serve full meals but we had the classic "tagliere" accompanied by delicious fresh baked bread, jams and honeys to go with the cheeses. The place is small but comfortable with amazing cacti and an urban decor made cosier by good lighting. We didn't try the beers but there were lots on tap and we will certainly go back.
